I have been struggling with severe osteoarthritis in both knees for many years when Mr. Anil Kumar was recommended to us as an excellent surgeon. Over March and May 2022, he performed total knee replacement for both my knees. At the very first consultation, Mr. Anil Kumar was very clear in setting expectations around what I should be expecting from the surgery, during the recovery period and subsequently. And during both surgeries, he was both very kind and performed the procedures to a high standard - my son is an orthopaedic surgeon himself, and he was delighted with the results that Mr. Anil Kumar achieved. My follow up appointments with Mr. Anil Kumar went smoothly, and I have recovered well. Three months after the second surgery, I am now walking independently without pain or support. I would not hesitate to recommend Mr. Anil Kumar to anybody who needs theirs knees replaced. Thank you, Doctor.

I saw MR Kumar as a NHS patient at Queen Mary sidcup and waited for him personally a year for my first hip replacement I then asked him to perform my other hip replacement privately at BMI Blackheath I cannot recommend the whole process more highly under difficult conditions in the Covid pandemic

Mr Kumar was incredible from start to finish. I was seen on the same day I was given the ok by Bupa. I had an MRI a few days later, followed by another appointment and was then in for ACL surgery the following week. Mr Kumar understood my needs (one of them was that I was expecting a baby in 6-8 weeks) and helped me make the right decisions for treatment. The surgery went perfectly and my scars have healed up so well you hardly notice them at all. I'm so glad I chose him and would recommend to everybody who asked.

Dr. Anil Kumar is thorough in explaining the problem, suggesting the next steps and clear plan in place for full recovery. The care I got pre operation, during and post operation was really good. He is patient enough to answer all my questions and clarifying my doubts. So I strongly recommend him and I already did to some of my friends.

Dr Kumar done my total hip replacement in March , very satisfied with the outcome. Made complete recovery and no longer in pain. Dr Kumar treated me with respect and was always very polite and friendly. Would highly recommend him.
